  • We did all the art for the new restaurant, Stab's, in Central. It's black and white photography mostly by Stacey Blanchard but with a few Fonville's thrown in. Each image has archival white and red matting surrounded by a distressed black frame. We do our own printing so we were able to customize the art to fit the space perfectly.
  • It's hard to tell from the pictures but some of the pieces we did for Stab's are over 50 inches!
  • We have the Master Jersey Framer James Sonier here at Lagniappe. The jersey's are stretched over an acid free board to keep everything nice and tight. We can customize the jersey frame just about any way you like... add the player's name down the side, photos, tickets, or other memorabilia!

  • This jersey is a little bit more like a shadowbox with a photo, tickets and brass plate inside.
  • This jersey was big. Really big. It looked awesome. We mounted it on gold suede then put a band of purple and gold on top.
  • Saints player Jimmy Graham jersey mounted on a gold mat with a black and white band around it. This is our favorite way to frame them.
  • This was the signed movie poster of "Sideways". The customer had a small information board that he wanted to add into the frame. So we cut the wine bottle spilling out making a puddle on the floor. The label on the bottle was cut separately to give a 3D effect.
  • Bridal Portraits are so elegant and we try to capture some of the beauty of that special day. This one has an ornate silver frame with a silk mat that highlights the brides beautiful skin tone. A silver fillet adds a little touch of class that all bridal portraits need.
  • This was a unique shadowbox that we did several years ago. It's a samurai sword from World War II. We used maroon suede to line the sides and back of the box. A band of suede with an antique gold fillet surrounds the sword. There is an engraved silver plate with information to make sure that it's history isn't forgotten.
  • This is a closeup of the sword hanger we found for this customer.

  • A family vacation! We documented the event and year by drawing on the mat.
  • This shadowbox is a collection of items from this family's trip to Tahiti. Maps, menus, currency, and local art make this frame a perfect snapshot of their trip.
  • This is a side view image to show how we lined the sides of the box with blue to give a little pop of color.
  • A customer's photo was enlarged and used as the background in this shadowbox.
  • Signed music poster with wrist band, ticket stub, and CD cover.
  • Signed Album Cover
  • Framed Crab Shells
  • Cirque du Soleil mask framed in an ornate gold shadowbox. Museum glass makes it so easy to see what's inside the frame.
  • We have framed a lot of Jazz Fest posters over the years. There is so much more that you can do with these posters than just sticking them in a little metal frame. These posters are done by some of the areas most famous artists and depict our greatest musicians. Show some respect! (Just kidding, we just really love these works of art!)
  • Sometimes, you just want that display to sit on the shelf and not on the wall... here is an example of a solution to that particular problem. The acrylic box frame is very versatile.
  • Mardi Gras Mask Shadowbox. It has an antique gold frame with black edging, textured cream mat with the sheet music to a Mardi Gras song drawn on it. This musical mat mimics the design on the cream panels on the mask. A gold fillet on the edge of the mat finishes the look.
  • In this picture you can see the inlayed green suede in a damask pattern. We did't want anything too distracting (there's a lot going on). So that's why we chose two colors that were similar in intensity. It adds interest without drawing a lot of your attention.
  • This is the inside of a shadow box. Notice how the sides of the box are lined with suede? And if you look at the top you can see the light we installed to brighten up the mask.
  • Oyster shells are a very unique backdrop!!
  • Antique umbrella and photo of the original owner, the customer's grandmother.

  • Record albums will always be cool!

  • Hawaiian Gods battle it out in this unique frame combination.
  • Vacation Shadowbox!!
  • Vibrant art needs color, sometime a little darker to really stand out.
